Technology these days is all around us everywhere we go and in everything we do. A commute to work may consist of you closing your front door, walking to the bus or train station which you will then get on and then go to work. Depending on what job you do you are bound to use a piece of technology whether you are in an office, kitchen or building site. So just by going to work in the mornings you are going to use around 4-5 pieces of technology.
Even now more then ever technology is advancing an enormous amount with new innovation and useful tools coming to our disposal and helping the way we perceive life, communicate and travel. For instance cars are developing at an enormous speed and with that comes safer technologies and engines that do not damage the planet and make global warming worse.
But the advancement in technology has seen a massive difference over the last few decades. I do not know if you have noticed, but most of what we use in our every day lives has only really been propelled in the last 20 years, something seems to have happened that just made technology go into a tipping point. I mean we have seen more innovative cars, cell phones expand, and computers get a lot more powerful, the creation of the internet plus so much more.
I mean there was obviously technology a century ago but nothing as advanced as we are now experiencing, things have changed so much in the last few decades. I mean humans have probably been around for almost two million years, so why have things developed so slowly? Is it because our brains have only evolved a small amount and now with all of the current technology we are able to get our brains around almost anything and create things that are mind blowing.
This does make you wonder what the future is going to hold, can you imagine what things are going to be like in another two decades, lets take a brief look:
Cars
People always said that we could never make flying cars, but I seriously do not believe that we are too far from it. The world is getting too populated so the future could hold cities in the sky where we will be able to live.
Phones
Phones have developed faster than anything around and what is there to say we will not be able to pass packages and items through the actual handset in the future?
Space Travel
Space travel is still quite hard for us at the moment as we cannot travel as fast as the speed of light, but when this does occur we are going to be able to navigate the whole universe and possibly find new forms of life.
