This is a informational piece about phone lists and voice broadcasting. Voice broadcasting with a proper phone list will change the way you do business.

There are many factors which come together to create a great voice broadcasting marketing campaign. Some of these important factors include the voice recording message, the product in promotion, times and days you are calling, a great sales team, and of course, the phone list; who are you calling! You can have all the elements in place, but with out knowing who to call or with out a targeted list, results will be of a lower ranking. You can still have a good campaign, but chances are it won't be a great campaign.

So how do you get the right list? There are many avenues which can direct you in the right direction. First, if you are a business with an existing client base, you can compile of list of those people whom you have had business relations with and begin there. Since they have done business with you, it is a great way to begin promoting new products and services, news and updates, or any kind of customer service.

Another way to get a great list is to find targeted data. There are plenty of data acquiring companies which have there own specifications, or you can specify the metrics, to target a group(s) of people. Targeted data is a useful tool to promote your business because of the possibilities of high interest and buying into your product or service is greater than marketing to the general public.

Lastly, there is general data. Usually this type of data is as similar as the information found in the white pages. These types of lists may be offered for free by marketing companies or a very small price. Since you are calling Joe A to Joe Z, it is hard to tell what kind of responses this will generate. It is likely you will spend more time, money, and have more disappointments because your business is not interesting to them. Even as first time user of voice broadcasting, your phone lists should not be anything that is not taken into serious consideration. Some new voice broadcasters will not return to this great form of marketing because there "test campaigns" did not allow them to at least break even on their investment.

It is important that you invest in a list that will create interest in the recipient. The difference in the kind of broadcasting list you use to market is the difference between a mediocre campaign and the right campaign which will generate results.
