Being a senior in high school is a very memorable time to celebrate and to have some fun. Most seniors have worked very hard up to this point so they are able to relax a little bit and take part in the extra activities going on. Most of them are set up by the senior class and not sponsored by the parents or the school. Yet most of them understand that senior pranks are a part of the passing traditions.
Senior Ditch Day is the most common prank pulled by upper classmen, and even though they try to keep it a secret, you can be sure most of the faculty already knows about it. At some schools this is just a smooth day with not much going on as they are going to play the game and allow the seniors to have some fun off campus for the day. At other schools though the teachers protest it and often give pop quizzes in the classes where most seniors are gone and will get a zero for the grade.
Going to school in pajamas is another common senior prank that can be fun. Instead of having to get up and get all dressed up for school they can simply take it easy. Since most seniors haven’t had a pajama day since they were in grade school, it is about time they get to have one. Some times the seniors will ask the entire student body to participate and other times they will reserve it for their group only.
If you have a staff with a good sense of humor, you can take a teacher or the school principal and hold them hostage for the day. In order for them to get free, students and other staff have to pay the ransom. Once it is collected you can let them be on their way. Make sure you donate the ransom money for a good cause such as buying books for the grade school or donating it to a local charity.
For those senior football players, they will enjoy picking up a car from the parking lot and placing it somewhere else. If there is a place to sit in the grass outside this could be a great place to display it. Just make sure the senior tough guys remember to move it back at the end of the day so the owner of the car can get home.
