Uniforms are worn to help identify those in a group. They are often chosen based on the designs, level of comfort, and even for their safety that they offer. Many schools have chosen to require students to wear uniforms as this takes care of plenty of issues that they often have to deal with.
The issue of students wearing inappropriate clothing to school has to be addressed almost daily in many school systems. There is also the problem of children out casting others based on the types of clothing that they were. School uniforms take care of all of this. Both children and parents know exactly what can be worn to school and anyone not doing it will be sent home. Since everyone is conforming to it, there are few fashion issues to deal with at school.
Some professions require people to wear uniforms as well. In the business world most men wear a suit and a tie each day to work. Nurses often wear white pants and smocks in their profession. These are referred to as scrubs in most facilities. This also helps to identify staff members to those that have questions while they are at the hospital or at the doctor’s office. Since you can buy these types of uniforms anywhere, most facilities require nurses to wear identification with their photo on it as well.
Cheerleading uniforms definitely get a great deal of attention. It doesn’t matter if you are talking about high school, college or professional teams – those short skirts moving around to the routines are very appealing to just about every guy out there. The dream of being a cheerleader is a common one for girls but very few of them are able to make the squads.
Sporting teams feature uniforms as well in order to identify who is on which team. Each team will have certain colors that they wear. They may have helmets, pads, and special shoes. It depends on what type of sport they are engaging in. You can definitely tell which sport a player is going to by the uniform that they wear though.
Each branch of the military also has its own type of uniform as well. They wear them with pride knowing that they are representing the United States. They are there to serve and protect while in the military and they find it an honor to follow any orders they are given no matter how difficult or dangerous they may be.
