First responders is a term that refers to how places, people, groups, and organizations will respond to a terrorist attack. It is the protocol behind responding to a threat of attack or the attack itself. After the World Trade Center buildings were destroyed, that changed the way the world thought about terrorism. It was thought that world terrorists would not target the United States and sometimes the thought of a possible terrorist attack did not even cross people’s minds. But after that day, the idea of it is more prominent in people’s minds throughout the world.
First Responders

First responders is a term that refers to how places, people, groups, and organizations will respond to a terrorist attack. It is the protocol behind responding to a threat of attack or the attack itself. After the World Trade Center buildings were destroyed, that changed the way the world thought about terrorism. It was thought that world terrorists would not target the United States and sometimes the thought of a possible terrorist attack did not even cross people’s minds. But after that day, the idea of it is more prominent in people’s minds throughout the world.

This means that there are areas and governments are spending even more money, time, and effort into making sure that a terrorist attack does not happen again. If this means putting people through what is known as “first responsder” training, then that is what needs to be done. In order to combat terrorism everyone needs to work together. Everyone can do something whether it is to find ways to help and volunteer or to train for the law enforcement or to do first response training. It is up to you.

There are many elements that make up the core group of “first responders”. In the case of the World Trade Center attacks, the first responders were actually the fire departments in New York City and the surrounding areas. Pretty soon, the police and national guard followed suit. But the fire department was so dedicated to this cause that they actually had people coming from all over the United States to help out. It was a tragedy. People tried to rescue those who were trapped. But eventually the buildings collapsed. Many of the first responders lost their lives.

As a result of the things that happened, the United States has begun to think more seriously about what it means to have first responders. As a result, there are protocols that should help people respond in case something else happens. Law enforcement, fire departments, the military, and even ambulances and hospitals and airports should all be trained on what to do in case there is an attack. First responders are important and everyone needs to work together to make sure that people know what to do in case there is an attack.
