Nothing says welcome back to Wisconsin like -10 degree wind chills. Just got back from a 16-day stay in sunny Vegas for the MidAmerica Motorcycle Auction. The highest bid in Vegas went to a 1912 American Package for $80,000. That still doesn’t beat MidAmerica’s world record sale at a public auction last year. A 1915 Cyclone Board Track Racer OHC went for $520,000 in Monterrey.

Planning to head to an auction? Stop by and say hi at our booth. HaulBikes is the official motorcycle transporter for the MidAmerica Auctions and we always have a display there. Would be great to meet you.

Other big things that happened in Vegas were the New Year’s Eve motorcycle jumps - Robbie Knievel ‘s jump over the volcano at the Mirage and the Australian Robbie Maddison’s record breaking longest motorcycle jump of almost 100 meters (that’s 322 feet to you and me here in the US).

Stay warm and don't forget to check out the official HaulBikes blog.
